This story is about a boy named James who was sent to live with his mean aunts after his parents were killed in an accident. With nothing but a pair of pajamas and his toothbrush, poor James is sent to do chores when he gets to his aunts' house. He wishes for a better life and is gifted magic crystals. He spills them near the old peach tree. The next day it starts to grow! That's when the adventure begins. He meets the ladybug, centipede, earthworm, silkworm, and the grasshopper.
