Author:Roald Dahl Reviewed:Mateo (age 10) This story is about a boy called Charlie that loved chocolate but he was poor so he couldn't buy chocolate. He wanted to go to Wonka factory but first he had to find a golden ticket. Will Charlie be able to get the golden ticket? My favorite part was when Augustus falls to the chocolate river. I liked the characters because there are very funny. If you like funny books, this book is right for you. I recommend this book for children between 9-11.

In the beginning of the story Danny didn't know about poaching. Until he learnt it. He and his father wanted to ruin Mr. Victor Hazel's shooting party because he was a bad person. Would Danny and Willum (his father) ruin the party?Would Danny be a good poacher? Read it and you'll see. The story takes place in Danny’s caravan and in the filling station. I enjoyed this book because it is very funny and it’s very strange because at the end Danny and his father bought an oven and that was unexpected for me because generally the main characters doesn’t buy an oven. My favourite part was when Danny´s father fell on a hole because it was funny. I recommend this book to anyone who likes funny things because it is very funny. This book is just right for children that are between 8 and 11 years old. So please, don’t miss it!

WARNING this book tells about how Sophie and the BFG try to save the “human-beans” from BIG and Furious Giants. Through the story Sophie learns a lot of things (What would they be?) and meet funny characters. What was the BFG’s work? Why was the BFG different to the other giants? What did he eat? What was the BFG’s appearance? The BFG (and the other giants) live in the GIANTS WORLD, a terrific place. Roald Dahl makes an EXCELLENT job, I almost thought I was Sophie (in a boy’s shape), because he used the exact words and actions to describe the place and characters. Find this and more in the cool and strange book; the BFG. My favorite part of the story was when the BFG eats his food and spits it and says funny words. Why do you think he spats? R.Dahl's writing style is amusing as he makes so funny sentences. I recommend this book to anyone who likes things out of normal. I think you don't need to be a child to read it, it will always be funny.
