Love National Geographic kids, because of them I started collecting recyclables to donate to the Primate Rescue Center in KentuckyOver 8 years agomichael9 has joined a reading program.

This book is about Kojo and how he took a loan to buy one brown hen and with that one brown hen he built up his flock to twenty-five hens by selling the eggs the hen laid. Kojo made enough money to go back to school. This is an amazing story about a child like me who was able to find a way not only to help himself but also help those around him.About 10 years agomichael9 added a book review.
In this book William was able to build a windmill to help his people have both water and electricity. The people of his village had no money for lights so when night came they could not work because it was too dark.William built the windmill with the help of two boys and he only used trash and trees the people taught he was crazy but when he was finished they all cheered for him.About 10 years agomichael9 added a book review.
